It's back and better than ever! Cherry Old Fashioned Wine Cocktail is now a permanent part of the Door Peninsula Winery lineup. This wine started as a Limited Release in 2024 as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration. Cherry Old Fashioned is our Sweet Cherry wine expertly blended with orange, brandy, and Angostura bitters flavoring. This ready-to-drink wine tastes just like the classic Wisconsin cocktail. Sip it straight, over ice, or add a little sweet or sour soda if you're feeling extra fancy.

Cherry Daiquiri Wine Cocktail is back and here to party! Starting as a Limited Release in 2024 for our 50th Anniversary, this wine is now a permanent part of our lineup. We start with our Sweet Cherry wine and add natural rum flavoring and lime juice for a tasty Door County cocktail in a bottle. Just grab a bottle or two, chill, and enjoy!

Itasca is a relatively new grape varietal developed by the University of Minnesota to thrive in cold hardy climates. We invested in growing Itasca at our vineyard as soon as it was made available and were one of the earliest wineries in the United States to grow and cultivate this grape. Similar to a Sauvignon Blanc or a Pinot Grigio, Itasca is a dry white wine with notes of pear, peach and melon. Its bright acidity pairs well with a variety of foods.

This American grape variety is grown widely in the eastern states. It is wonderfully aromatic with melon, green apple, orange and rosemary notes. This sweet light pink wine has a pleasing back palate with acidity that allows it to pair well with most foods. This vintage retained its bright pink color from its red skinned grape.

Sweet Apple wine heavily spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve this sweet, mulled wine warm for a sassy cider substitute. Our mulled wines are ready to serve, but we recommend serving them warm. Simply pour into your favorite mug or cup and microwave for short intervals until warm, similar to how you would warm up a coffee or hot chocolate. More traditional? Pour the wine into a saucepan and warm over the stove top. Pour into a serving cup and garnish with a cinnamon stick. DO NOT SIMMER! If you simmer or overheat the wine, the spice will become harsh and the alcohol will evaporate.

This fantastic red wine is a traditional blend of three wines: Syrah, Plum and Strawberry. Blended as a fun and seasonal wine, Witches Brew is semi-dry with a touch of residual sugar and a rich tannin structure from the Syrah. It’s your choice to drink it slightly chilled or room temperature.
