COVID-19 Information
What are your hours?

The Winery is currently open 9am to 5pm daily.  The Wine Garden closes for the winter on October 31st. In summer we are open 9am to 6pm daily.

When do you have tastings? How much are they?

We have wine tasting all day, every day. There are no set times for tastings and we do not take reservations as everyone works at their own pace. Better yet, tastings are completely free.

Inside the winery you can taste from any of our 64 wines and ciders. Wine tasting is first come, first served and there may be a short wait during busier times.

Outside, in our Wine Garden, you may taste from a selection of our best sellers.  You will be given a tray of your selections to take to any table.

When are tours? How much are they? Do I need to book in advance?

NOTE: We are currently unable to offer tours due to COVID-19. Once we resume the following will apply:

Tours are held on the hour daily, 10am to 4pm, and cost $3 per person. Children 16 and under may take the tour for free. Tours are approximately 25 minutes long and include information about both the winery and the distillery. They do not go outside to our vineyard. You do not need a reservation for the tour. If you have a large group (15+) please call us to let us know when you are coming.

Do you have outdoor seating? Outdoor wine tasting?

Our Wine Garden is open daily in season, May-October.  It is closed November through April. The Wine Garden offers wine tasting from a select list, wine by the glass, cocktails made with Door County Distillery spirits, and bottles of our top 25 best sellers. It is open daily from 10am to 6pm.

The Wine Garden is first come, first served and we do not reserve tables. All items, including wine tasting flights, are ordered from the bar.  We do not have table service.

Door County Distillery also has an outdoor balcony for their tasting flights and cocktails.

Are you dog friendly?

Our outdoor Wine Garden is dog friendly. You can order a wine tasting flight, cocktail, or glass of wine in the garden with your furry friends.

Except for service animals, dogs are not allowed in the main building of Door Peninsula Winery.

What about the Distillery? What’s up with that?

Door County Distillery is located in a separate section of the same building as Door Peninsula Winery. In summer, they are open 10am to 6pm. In winter they are open 10am to 5pm daily.

They offer spirits tastings any day, $2 per sample a la carte. They also have a cocktail bar and outdoor patio on which you can enjoy some of our seasonal features or your favorite mixed drink.
